Every Child Seen. Valued. Empowered.

Every child deserves the freedom to be fully themselves.

A child's appearance should never determine their confidence, belonging, education, friendships, opportunities or future. Melos Foundation empowers children living with vitiligo and other visible differences to grow with confidence, dignity and opportunity.

Different. Beautiful. Strong.

What every child should be able to say
I am more than my skin. I am capable. I belong. I have a voice. I have a future. I AM ME.
Our Story

Inspired by one child. Created for every child who has ever felt different.

Melos Foundation was inspired by the childhood journey of Melos Liyuneh. As her family navigated the questions that come with a visible skin difference, they saw something much larger than one family's experience.

See the Child. Celebrate the Person. Change the Conversation.

Our Promise

Imagine a generation that never learns to be ashamed of being different.

Imagine children walking into classrooms without trying to hide. Families feeling supported rather than isolated. Communities choosing understanding instead of judgment. Children looking into the mirror and seeing not limitation — but possibility.

You are seen. You are valued. You belong. Your voice matters. Your dreams matter. You are more than your skin.
